Healthy environment and sustainable development

We help our customers improve their energy efficiency by providing sustainable and effective energy solutions for compressed air, gas and energy applications. We also reduce the environmental impacts of our own operations – in 2024, we increased recycling at our office, for example.

Energy-efficient compressed air

Our compressed air solutions are always designed to be energy-efficient. Our Sarlin Balance system can save up to 30 per cent in compressed air system energy costs.

Globally, our system saves an annual total of 87 GWh in energy and reduces CO2 emissions by 33 kt, which is equivalent to the energy consumption of some 4,800 electrically heated detached houses or 49 round trips from Helsinki to Beijing by commercial airliner. The system’s energy savings range from 10 to 30 per cent.

Biogas solutions

We are the pioneer of biogas solutions in Finland, and we are continuously developing new ways to replace fossil fuels with environmentally friendly gases.

In Finland, more than 80 per cent of the electricity produced from biogas is generated with Sarlin equipment.

Green transition

We want to be at the vanguard of the green transition with our partners by developing new solutions.

We are taking part in the construction of Finland’s first industrial scale green hydrogen and synthetic methane production plant in the town of Harjavalta, located in the region of Satakunta.

Circular economy solutions and life cycle services

Our technologies help customers reduce their consumption of energy and raw materials without compromising operational reliability or safety.

We are more than equipment suppliers – we ensure optimal life cycles for our solutions through our comprehensive service selection, including maintenance services.

Finnish compressed air

The Association for Finnish Work has awarded the Key Flag Symbol to Sarlin’s compressed air services in recognition of their high level of domestic production.
