Peter Rydebrink, Managing Director of Euromekanik:
“We’re excited for the opportunity to deliver a hydrogen production plant to Fortum. They have concrete opportunities for furthering the green transition. The role of hydrogen in the green transition is indisputable. In cooperation with Sarlin, we’re responsible for the plant’s system design, integrations, installation and commissioning. This project allows optimal testing of combined PEM and alkaline electrolysers in different conditions.”
Located on Fortum’s land in the Källa district of Loviisa in Finland, east of Helsinki, the plant will be designed into the perfect hydrogen production facility with generation, compression and filling functionality. The filling station will include both a bottle filling station and a trailer filling station for shipping the hydrogen.
At Sarlin, we are happy for this opportunity to take a significant step for sustainable energy production.
“We take great pride in the opportunity to work with Euromekanik in realising this hydrogen production project for Fortum. The project is a significant step towards sustainable energy production and solidifies our position in the development of green technology. By combining our expertise with the innovative solutions of Euromekanik, we can build a plant that will be key for the energy landscape of the future,” says Juha-Matti Herpiö, Commercial Project Manager at Sarlin Oy Ab.
