The Easidew and Easidew Online sensors are a low-cost choice for compressed air and gas applications. The sensors can be used from -100 to 20 °C.
The SF82 dew point transmitter is an inexpensive option for measuring the dew point of compressed air. Both sensor types are sturdy and reliable with a fast response time. They are also suitable for explosive atmospheres. Both sensor types are also included in the Michell Instruments sensor exchange programme.
Calibration
The verification of results is important, because even the best equipment wears down and requires periodic maintenance. Typically, measurements should be verified about once a year, but some applications benefit from more frequent checks.
Sensor exchange – an alternative to calibrations
For customers with a limited number of instruments, the Michell Instruments sensor exchange programme offers an alternative to procuring calibrations.
The programme allows customers to replace their sensors with as-new products, a cost-efficient solution requiring minimal production downtime. The customer can keep using the old sensor until the new one arrives. The only interruption to measurements is the time it takes to swap the devices.
Dedicated calibration device
For customers with a large number of instruments or especially high quality requirements, we recommend the purchase of a calibration device.
The Michell Instruments HygroCal100 is a low-cost option for calibrations in the lab or in the field with the optional battery pack.
The Michell Instruments portable MDM300 dew point hygrometer makes it a breeze to quickly measure the dew point and moisture content of compressed air, natural gas and biogas applications, for example.
The MDM300 is an excellent device for reference measurements in the field. The sturdy case can weather harsh conditions and the device is quick to respond, allowing for more measurements in a day than any other field calibrator. There are different versions of the device for safe and explosive atmospheres.
We can help you choose the right option for measuring the dew point and moisture content as well as for verifying your results.
