The Watrec Ltd. worksite in Mäntsälä in Finland saw the installation of its biogas upgrading station’s equipment room and switchgear on Monday, 30 March 2020. Production trials are set to start once the installation is finished.
The station will upgrade gas for the local energy company’s distribution network. In practice, this means the gas network will be primarily fed with domestically produced biomethane in the future, which is unique among Finland’s gas networks.
