Sarlin x Q Power – advancing the green transition with a historic synthetic methane production plant
Sarlin has delivered gas pressurisation and processing technology solutions for a plant delivered by Q Power to the end customer, green hydrogen pioneer P2X Solutions Ltd. P2X Solutions Ltd is building Finland’s first industrial scale green hydrogen and e-methane production plant in Harjavalta.

Ordered by P2X Solutions Ltd, the new hydrogen and e-methane production plant supports the transition away from fossil fuels by replacing them with clean multipurpose methane.
The synthetic methane production plant is noteworthy on the global scale as well. The Q Power methanation technology is based on a microbiological process and can be used to produce and store renewable energy.
Sarlin came into the picture when Q Power started looking for a technology supplier and partner for methane pressurisation solutions.

The Harjavalta plant is a great milestone in the journey towards carbon neutrality goals: it is a significant opportunity to replace fossil fuels at scale and increase Finland’s domestic energy production.
Sarlin and Q Power share a solution-oriented business model that supports the transition of end customers to carbon-neutral operations.
